I guess I tend to give more credit to Europeans than I should. I really thought that the Spanish were smart, and had some backbone. But in the face of one of the worst terrorist attacks since 9/11, do the Spanish people stand up and demand that the terrorist pay? No. Do they renew their commitment to fighting against terrorists? No. Do they grow in their resolve to see the horrors of terrorist hatred wiped from the earth? No. What do they do? They blame their Prime Minister for getting them into the war in Iraq, and blame their own Prime Minister for getting people killed.

This just really ticks me off. This causes me to rant.

Let me take this down here, to where even a liberal can understand it. Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar did not cause the terrorist attacks in Spain. President Bush did not cause the terrorist attacks.

Terrorists caused the terrorist attacks in Spain. Are you liberals still with me, or should I repeat myself? Terrorists caused the terrorist attacks in Spain.

By allowing these despicable extremist Muslim terrorists to change the course of an election, and buckling under pressure to extremist groups, Spain is setting a dangerous precedent. Europeans must either follow what is right because it is the right thing to do, follow principles even when it hurts, or all of Europe should be prepared for more attacks, especially right before big elections.
